 Merrilee
Kick is a writer, producer, actress,
voice-over artist and magazine editor. After college Merrilee was
hired by EDS as a systems programmer writing computer programs for
the Health Care & Insurance Industries. Then, she was hired
by Computer Sciences Corporation to help out in their New Business
Marketing. After 8 years in the computer industry, Merrilee wanted
work where her heart was, and that was in film and television.
In the last 10 years of her career, Merrilee has built an impressive
client list both in front of, and behind the camera. Producing documentaries
with her film crew in South Africa, and producing film & television
events, she found her niche in entertainment.
Merrilee is President Emeritus of Women
In Film & Television and represented South Africa in the industry's
international events in Calgary and in London. She was awarded the
prestigious Woman Of Vision & Courage Crystal Award in Johannesburg
in 1996.
When she moved to Sweden in 1997, in addition to writing 3 screenplays,
she was a television anchor for a corporate news program for Ericsson,
and performed hundreds of voice-over commericals and videos. She
can be seen in the Feature Film Greetings, as well as an
on-camera actress in many Scandianavian commericals.
